Callaghans Bar and Shop Churchill Co Donegal
The first record of Callaghans Bar can be traced back to a date in 1892 when a Mr J Duddy leased the property from the Lough Veagh Estate.
In 1927 a very young Mary Healy inherited the business. To this day some of our locals still refer to the bar as “Mary Healys”. Mary ran the business through some very tough years and raised a family too. The current owners are Raymond, Son of Mary Healy and his wife Kathleen.
