The Client
Sarah-Marie McDevitt, Founder and CEO at Pinehill Studios, fulfilled a childhood dream, providing a space for dance in many varieties
The Problem
Sarah-Marie was ’embarrased’ to send anyone fo her website. And they nearly always came back with questions. So the website was not doing its job and not saving any time for the Studio or the visitors. The old site dated back to 2015, was built on a user ‘unfriendly ‘ WordPress platform but needed to be upgraded, to allow Sarah-Marie add, edit and delete content with ease.
The Brief
This website had to be custom designed, mobile first by Janine, then developed and delivered in May.
The Approach
After our initial Discovery meetings with Sarah-Marie, we moved straight to a wireframe and to custom design and designer Janine came up with an agreed design after a few small revisions. Overall Janine nailed the design and Sarah-Marie was very happy. At this stage she spotted a few things she wanted to add. Then we built a business website on a WordPress platform using the Divi theme.
The Results for Pinehill Studios
The site launched in late May 2021. Sarah-Marie is now ‘very happy’ to refer people to the website for information or to make bookings. The website saves time for her, the studio and visitors. From the day it launched Sarah-Marie was able to make use of it, adding events etc. In July with a few weeks experience, we did a handover meeting where we added a few innovations, to make the user experience. Now people can find out which classes are on, when and book online. And they no longer come back asking questions.
The Results for MEANit
We have another very happy client who is also happy to recommend us and has done already – Thank You Sarah-Marie. And this is ideal for our Portfolio. Whilst it is eCommerce, it is only selling its own classes. And the design is young and funky.
