Wild Fuschia Bakehouse Donegal
The Client
Master baker extraordinaire Sian McCann who is to be found baking in Dunfanaghy Co Donegal, where she is literally loved for her wonderful bakes.
The Problem
Sian wanted a new website,as the old one was just not up to scratch. She wanted to look well online and allow people order and pay through an eCommerce website. .
The Brief
This site had to be custom designed, by Janine, then developed and delivered in late 2020. The shop was initially to carry Sian’s own recipe bread mixes. During the process a lot of fresh bakery products were added to the mix.
The Approach
After our initial Discovery meetings with Sian and Colin, we moved straight to a wireframe and to custom design and designer Janine came up with an agreed design after a few discussions. Then we built a business website on a WordPress platform using the Divi theme. And we added a suitable eCommerce plugin with WooCommerce and configured it for the Sian to use, after some training with Maryann.
To top it off Eamonn at Glass Mountain was engaged to do some very high quality videos of Sian making bread with the various mixes.
The Results for Wild Fuschia Bakehouse
The site launched in late 2020. Sian is now managing her website and her own social media campaigns. The bread mixes have been so successful, that Sian is focused on these alone. No more fresh bakery products.
The Results for MEANit
We have another very happy client who is also happy to recommend us. And this is ideal for our eCommerce Portfolio.
