The Client
Eugene O’Doherty is the Senior Partner in a very well established busy accountancy practice in Monaghan Town O’Doherty Agnew & Co Limited Chartered Accountants and Tax Advisers Monaghan in County Monaghan along with Padraig Agnew his business partner and a growing team.

The Problem
They had a website for years, however it did not look well or rank on page 1 or get any traffic. But mainly it did not reflect the firm very well in the 2024.

The Brief
This accountancy website had to be custom designed, by Chris, then developed and delivered before the upcoming Tax season. And we had to optimise it to get it ranking on page 1 of Google for agreed key phrases. Big promise or challenge for us, but one we relished.

The Approach
After our initial Discovery meeting with Eugene and Padraig, we moved straight to a wireframe and to custom design. Graphic designer Chris came up with a great website design very quickly. After a few revisions, and a few discussions or debating, we built a business website on a WordPress platform using the Divi theme. And we added a suitable supporting Blog to replace an ineffective RSS feed that had been in place for years, wasting time, money and opportunity. Search Engine Optimisation was done and the website is now ranking very well on page 1 for its key services, in the target area of Monaghan, in this competitive space. The site launched on time and on budget. Eugene and Padraig and the team reviewed it in detail. They reserved judgment on its efficacy until seeing some tangible results, so we guaranteed these. The website now ranks on page 1 in Google search for terms like accountants in Monaghan. The practice gets calls and emails as a result.
