It is simple to say, but can be hard to put in to practice. Why ?
As a Technician, can I develop to be a Manager and then in to an Entrepreneur ? Or am I too busy doing stuff ?
Am I an Entrepreneur, working as a poor Manager or worse as a bad Technician ?
How do we make the jump from one to the other ? Which one am I ? Where do I get the other two ? How do I identify the right ones ?
We are busy, busy, busy doing what we have to do to survive, so how do we do what we have to do to grow ?
What will it take ? What is the plan ? What are the stages of the plan ? We need a Timetable
Without a plan and a way to systemise how can we become a business ?
McDonalds Ray Croc shows us all how we can take a simple system, repeat it and make a successful business out of it.
If we want to progress what do we have to do ?
How many clients can we manage as a Technician, before we decide if we can or want to employ someone to do that work. How do we ensure that they do it the same way ?
As a Manager how many Technicians can I manage ?
As an Entrepreneur how many Managers can I handle ?
Can we create a plan, a system, a way to have people do what we do so that we can grow ? A child should be able to follow a well honed plan and make a success of our business. Script everything, every movement, every action, every reaction, each question, each answer. Work on it continually so that buyers want to come back for more.
Four questions to ask about the business:
1. How can I get my business to work, but without me?
2. How can I get people to work without my interference?
3. How can I systematize my business so that unit 5000 is the same as unit 1? A Franchise ?

So, what are we going do to make it personal – a Me Myth ?
Solution: STOP now and look at what you are doing. Is it what will make you happy ? Will it become a viable business ? Are you just a busy fool with a persecution complex who continually tells himself that he is working hard ? STOP
