The Problem
The old website needed to be replaced, design overhauled and eCommerce functionality upgraded.
The Brief
With recent Media attention and an increase in visitor numbers, Green Acres Quilts wanted to be professional looking and offer an online shopping experience that would work smoothly. The design had to be in keeping with the whole home mede quilting feel.
The Approach
After our initial Discovery meeting with Stephanie and Hennie, we started with a written Brief of our own interpretation of the project, for their approval. Then we created a wireframe or layout for approval. Then we created a custom design by Janine – again for approval after a few revisions. Then we built a business website on a WordPress platform using the Divi theme and added a WooCommerce shop for the quilt store. After a bit of 1 to 1 training with Maryann, Hennie was good to go.
The Results for Green Acres Quilts
The site has launched in May 2020. The client is very happy and the website is ready for the Media, which is coming. Visitors can find their way round and shop comfortably.
The Results for MEANit
We have another very happy eCommerce client who is also happy to recommend us. And this is ideal for our Portfolio of eCommerce case studies. We are very limited in the number of new clients we can take on at any time and eCommerce is not an area we want to develop, but this clients makes their own kits and controls pricing.
